What is a sugar scrub?

Sugar scrubs are a type of face and/or body scrub. Sugar scrubs are usually made with granulated sugar, it helps to physically exfoliate and remove dead skin cell buildup from the surface of the skin. Exfoliating with a sugar scrub can help create the appearance of smoother, glowing skin keeping you looking fresh and young! You do not need to use everyday, but we recommend this sweet treat for your skin a few times a week.

What is in the sugar scrubs?

All of our sugar scrubs are made with raw or granulated sugar as well as kosher salt. The base oil in our products is coconut oil. Every product that we carry are infused with aloe vera and vitamin e. Each body scrub has it own set of essential oils that are used, so please refer to the product description for the names of these oils.

What are the benefits of using a sugar scrub?

Sugar is gentle on the skin, yet tough on the dirt! Sugars' small particles make an excellent topical exfoliate, and are used to exfoliate dead surface skin cells and reveal the glowing, healthy-looking skin underneath.

How do you use a sugar scrub?

Don't know what to do? Its OK, we've got you covered! Once you have chosen between one of our five sugar scrubs that you feel would best fit your skin, prep your face and/or skin with a warm rag or lukewarm water. Then, you scoop a small amount onto fingers or using a small spoon and smooth onto skin. Gently massage the sugar scrub in a circular motion over your face and/or body. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water then pat dry. We recommend using three times a week as apart of your normal skincare routine.

How many times should i exfoliate a week?

We recommend using a sugar scrub at least 3-4 times per week, making sure to rub in a circular motion. It is most effective as it helps free ingrown hairs and is less abrasive than back and forth motion.

How do i use the face mask?

 1. Wipe your face with a warm face cloth

2. Apply to skin (add a couple drops of water on mask to loosen if you desire a thinner consistency)

 3. Spread  a nice thick layer covering the skin

4. Allow mask to dry for about 10-15 minutes (will experience tightness)

5. Place warm face cloth over face to loosen mask (clean removal)

6. Lightly wipe mask off of skin

7. Pat dry

How often should i use the face mask?

We recommend using a face mask 1-3 times per week for the best results!

How do i use the Soothing Oatmeal Bath?

1. Fill tub with warm water

2. Add your 100% colloidal bath mixture to bath water (If using Chamomile or Lavender keep contents inside muslin bag for an easy clean up)

3. Carefully get into tub (May be slippery)

4. Relax and enjoy your healing soak!

(WARNING: Oatmeal that has not dissolved will remain at the bottom of your tub)

Do you have any products safe for children?

Yes, of course! All of them. All of our products are made in small batches with fresh organic ingredients to ensure our customers received the best quality possible. We do not use any chemicals, preservatives, or additives! The main oil used in the Sugar Scrubs and the Lip Scrub is coconut oil, and they are all infused with aloe vera and vitamin e. Please check ingredients for possible allergies. Also check on the back of the child's wrist in a small area to test for allergies before using.

How do i use the beard oil?

Our beard oil is to be used daily and works best on a clean beard. Consistency is KEY to your beard growth! Be good to your beard and your beard will be good to you! Place a dime size amount into palms and distribute throughout your beard. If using our Sparse formula add additional oil to patchy areas. (Less is more, you don't want to walk around looking like a grease ball)

If you currently have no heard and are trying to grow it out distribute beard oil in areas that the beard will grow.  This product does not need to be washed off. Let sit for the day and repeat routine. We recommend using a sugar scrub in addition to our beard oils to help treat the skin underneath promoting a healthy space for your hair to grow.
